Test Unit now Installed at Chorley Library
A test unit has now been installed in the back office at Chorley Library ready for testing. We wiil need to set the parameters for all the functions prior to training staff.
We will try and organise site visits, for Chorley Staff, to another authority with 3M 'B' series units installed to see how it is working elsewhere. This will also give Library staff a chance to speak to other library staff and discuss how well it works and whether there were changes introduced post 'Live' date.

Test Unit to be installed at Chorley
A test unit will be installed at Chorley Library in the Back Office, on Wednesday the 12th August. We will be testing the unit and setting up the parameters for the units. Unfortunately we will not have a payments unit to test but this would be academic at the moment until we have upgraded to Alto 4.3 which integrates the payment module.
The Chorley bespoke furniture has been redesigned to accommodate the juniors and wheelchairs (see above). The designers are trying to source more formica samples as the original wasn't a close enough match to the current furniture.
