Garstang went 'Live' with self service today. With over 1200 transactions it was one of the busiest launch days we've experienced.

The dominant main counter has been removed and the stock against the side wall has been relocated.

The library is now very open and there were many favourable comments from customers. There were some issues namely ALL self service units were down on launch day. Fortunately this problem was sorted before opening. None of the printers or the fax were working first thing although the fax was sorted early morning. By closing time the Pnet printer was working (It just needed a reboot) but the staff printer was still not working. |
